Kevin Na says the par-4 11th hole at Royal Troon is like the Road Hole at St. Andrews, a.k.a. the hardest hole on the course.
After finding his ball laying next to a stone wall, Na decided to channel his inner “Mechanic” and use the wall to his advantage, bouncing it off side onto the green.
Miguel Ángel Jiménez played a similar shot at the 2010 Open when he made an amazing recovery by chipping his ball against a similar stone wall to land on the green.
We don’t know if Na will actually use this shot in competition but it’s always good to be prepared!
